Landscape Lighting

All of our outdoor lighting is distributed in the USA. These LED bulbs use 75 percent less energy than halogen bulbs, reducing electricity bills by 75 percent. This means a home with 80 fixtures could cost less than 50¢ of power per night. That’s less expensive than turning on your kitchen lights! Additionally, all electrical wiring is low voltage.

Types of Outdoor Lighting
There are many different types of landscape lighting to choose from, varying in style, light intensity, light color, length of life, price, energy efficiency, and ease of installation. The most energy-efficient options include LED (light-emitting diodes), solar and low-voltage lighting.

LED Lighting is growing in popularity due to its energy efficiency, long life and range of choices in light strength and color.

Low-Voltage Landscape Lighting uses a transformer to reduce the voltage carried through its wiring, making it simple to install in the ground. This type of lights can be used in a variety of ways, while providing cost savings. Often they’re used as path lighting to mark the edge of walkways or to display garden beds or statuary. You can even use low-voltage lighting to display small trees (larger trees will probably require stronger light sources, such as metal halide lamps).

Solar Lights charge in the daytime, and then light up at night. They are not particularly powerful, but can do so-so to light a pathway.

Functional Lighting is important too. This includes lighting decks and patios to allow you to see what you’re doing.

Illuminate Any Part of Your Home
Where you place your lighting is an important consideration. You will want to put it in areas where you will be spending time to have lighting sufficient for the tasks at hand.

Pathway Lighting can be used to mark the edges of paths, making them more easily and safely traversed.

Spotlighting can be used to highlight a particular element of your space, such as a statue, water feature or specimen tree.

A variety of options exist for lighting in seating, dining and cooking areas. In addition to the purpose of each light, outdoor lighting can be used to highlight the overall structure of your outdoor space. A truly professional look doesn’t just highlight certain features, but is beautiful to behold as a whole when standing from a distance!
